Scent Marketing in the Workplace

If you stop and try to think how your workplace smells like, can you identify a specific odor? Or can you at least remember how you feel when you think about it? I personally find it really easy to recreate in my mind the scents I smell every day, and with them also specific moods and attitudes I associate to those specific environments. For example, the smell of my house makes me feel relaxed and cosy, the smell of buses makes me feel anxious (because I’m usually in a rush), the smell of my office makes me feel productive and the smell of my university hall makes me feel concentrated.

Do you love reading novels? It is interesting how technology changed the way we read. Well, I used to be a fanatic, and this was way back in the comics’ days. Fast-forward, and I’m still one of those who prefers to read novels in the traditional way. Actually, I have been thinking of getting an e-book for awhile. Hello Scent Sciences followers, it has been a long time since I have written.  Thanks to my great teammate, Carlotta, I was able to take some much needed time away from blogging to focus on the beginning of the school year.  During the day I am in the classroom with 24 fantastic 4^th graders but this makes for long days.  This past Friday I almost feel asleep at the dinner table!  Needless to say, I needed some relaxation tips this weekend.
