I was doing some research on the scent of jasmine and I came upon some very interesting information which may amuse you. A laboratory test on mice has found that the scent of jasmine has the same effects as Valiums. Valiums are used to treat anxiety, muscle spasms, seizures, and other medical conditions. Inhaling the scent of jasmine is said to transmit messages to a brain region involved in controlling emotions known as the limbic system, this brain region also influences the nervous system. The scent of jasmine is often used as a natural remedy for stress, anxiety, depression, fatigue, menstrual cramps and menopausal symptoms.
Some of the side effects for Valiums are:
- Coordination problems
- Double vision
- Bladder or bowel control problems
- Changes in sex drive
- Salivation changes
- Slurred speech
- Shakiness (tremors)
- Difficulty passing urine
- A spinning sensation (vertigo)
- Blurred vision.
Doesn’t reading all these side effects make you think twice when it comes to taking a Valium? If you have anxiety, instead of taking Valiums, you should consider sniffing the scent of jasmine. It is safer for you and you also don’t have to deal with side effects that come with consuming Valiums.
So what do you guys think? Would you consider sniffing jasmine instead of taking Valiums if you knew they were a better solution? Let us know! We would love to hear from you!
